The mermaid is pretty but here’s a tip – step off the podium. That dress has proportions that are all wrong for you once you lose that 6″ it’s giving you. Once hemmed, the scallop of lace will be much higher and make the bottom look heavy and short.

Mermaids can look fantastic on shorter gals, but you need to make sure the flare is hitting you in the right spot! Have your consultant tuck the hem under the rest of your dress while you are standing on the floor so you can get a better idea of how it will actually look on you.

A– it looks great on you and it has more interest over the entire dress. But B is very pretty as well. It looks like the decision may still be up to you!

Just because the opinion is split doesn’t mean you need to keep looking. I think either one is a keeper, it’s just a matter of your choice between two really incredible options.

I like both but voted for B just because I feel like A is the dress that EVERYONE has for the past 3 years and I’m just kind of tired of it.  You look great in both though

I vote A. Perhaps you can add a sash or a blingy belt? 🙂

I’m really torn on both dresses and this is coming from someone that picked a fit and flare and doesn’t like ballgowns at all.  Both are pretty and flattering on you but in different ways. If you like both dresses, then it may come down to how you want to FEEL on your wedding day and what your vision is for that day. I’m sorry if I was no help!

I voted A. Both look beautiful, but I found when I tried dresses on that there is just something so beautiful and dramatic about full lace/beading/etc., rather than just at the top and a plainer skirt. You can’t go wrong with either, though! 🙂
