Hi Bees
My friends getting married & needs some help. She really likes the Amsale Coco dress as in the picture but doesn’t have the budget.
She doesn’t want a replica, just something cheaper in a similar style. She really likes the shape and the fact the dress has pockets. She’d be happy without the lace & with wider straps / cap sleeves.
We’d been grateful for any suggestions
Thanks

Steph77: here’s one, by Paloma Bianca. I think those are pockets!

This one by Stella York doesn’t have lace and does have that flower thing… but it would be cheaper than the Paloma Bianca.

I don’t know what size she is, but Vows (bridepower) has a very similar dress (perhaps the same one?) in a size 6 for $1950: https://bridepower.com/product/amsale-aline-17880/

Two more – this one probably around the same price as the Paloma Blanca:

This one is really similar, but is probably the most expensive of the options I’ve posted. Still cheaper than Amsale though.

She should check out https://www.preownedweddingdresses.com/.
J. Crew use to have a similar style gown called the Principessa.

astrid and mercedes “lovely” seems very similar to me. i tried this dress on – super comfotrable and lightweight and the detailing on the top in person is really delicate and gorgeous

tc458151: wow that really similar – it’s practically a replica! Can’t imagine Amsale would be thrilled about that – though I guess if the material’s different (I think it is) then they can argue it’s their own design.
Preowned tells me that dress is likely to be around $2500, whereas Coco is more like $4-5k.

clairebbbear: Wow! Thanks so much for your help. These dresses are brilliant. I should have mentioned we’re in the UK which complicates things a little but I think we can get at least some over here
