What about buying it from someone. I always see brides selling their dresses either because they changed their mind or after their wedding is over.

Too funny, I was wondering why you didn’t attach a picture so we could know what dress it was……but that was one of the dresses I was debatting!!  I just never knew the name.

I loved that dress but ended up going with the Desirae.  The Desirae is the same material, similar lines except it’s not as fitted around the hips and it’s cheaper than the one you have your heart set on…..

I tried on the dress, but didn’t like how it looked on me. However, I wanted the same things you are looking for in a dress- sweetheart neckline, rouching and the beaded sash. I bought Maggie Sottero’s Scarlet!! I don’t have any pics though. Honestly though, the pics online do not do it justice. I wasn’t that thrilled with the dress until I tried it on in Ivory. Not sure why they have it in the light gold on her webpage!

@MsPensFan:

I didn’t even realize the neckline until about a week ago and I purchased the dress over a month ago.  I bought the dress about 10 days after I got engaged and 5 months to the day until my wedding so I didn’t have time to mess around.  I just love the fabric, so comfortable, not normally something you look for in a wedding dress but I did feel great in it!  Oh and By The Way I love the Pens!

@MsPensFan: It was $778 at a store in Delaware (tax free!). I almost passed out from shock since I thought it was going to be around $1k!! My budget was around $1,500 so I was thrilled that this was under budget. It ended up being close to 900 after the $20 for shipping and $75 for the extra 5″ hem. This store had the best prices of anybody! I was considering the Kendra dress and it was $150 less than another store.

I ran into the same problem with finding it though. I was considering buying a more plain dress and adding the beaded sach (which was more work than I wanted to do!) and nobody had this dress! When I walked in the store and told her what I wanted style-wise, she brought out the Scarlet! They just got the dress a few days ago and therefore did not have it when I tried to hunt it down 3 weeks ago. I think the dress just came out though, so maybe more will start to carry it.

I’m in the same boat as you, love the Adorae, don’t love the price! I’m hoping I’ve found my solution. Haven’t tried it on yet and don’t know the price, but I’ve got to assume it’d be less. I’m hoping to try it on this weekend and I pray it’s the one! It’s an exact replica of the Adorae made by Da Vinci bridal:
