I would love to see your dresses that were $600 or under! That is my budget. I envision a huge fluffy dress with tulle or ruffles, maybe a bit of bling too, but I’m not sure how realistic that is with my budget 🙁 I’ve been looking at second hand dresses for now, but I’d love to see what other bees have!

This is my Alfred Angelo ballgown that I got on sale (before their bankruptcy, you can get a gown super cheap right now!) for $650 after tax!

My dress was around $550 CAN when I bought it (the price has increased now) from Etsy! I had the best experience and am still head over heels in love with it even after the wedding. My budget was very similar to yours, and Etsy had by far the most beautiful options in my price range, it was really hard to pick one.

This is my a-line dress from MoriLee. It’s lace on top and tulle on the bottom – exactly what I was looking for! I bought it for something like $550, if I recall.

nycoleman : you can get bargain alfred angelo gowns right now? can you direct me to where? Would love to know, thatnks!
add on: I have tried googling it, but there’s so much talk about the bankruptsy situation and I’d want to make sure I’m using a reputable link rather than maybe a scam. ty.

keepingitreal8675309 : I would just waltz in to you neareset Alfred Angelo if they still have some stock left. You can’t buy Alfred Angelo dresses through their website, only through a distributer. Also, the other day I was walking downtown my new little town and came across a bridal store, which had a sign that said “All Alfred Angelo 50% Off” so perhapds just check your local bridal stores as well! (:
It might be worth your facy to just make a few phone calls to your nearest bridal boutique!

nycoleman : Thanks! I haven’t bought any kind of fancy dress in a long time and though I know there are AA boutiques, I wasn’t sure if you could get them on line or not. Thanks for the info!

I found this shop on Etsy and they do gorgeous work quite reasonably. Here are a few examples…
Nothing even hits the $600 mark. Worth taking a look, I think

Not married yet but I’ve been browsing online to get ideas on a budget. BHLDN usually has a few options under that price point. Lulus too – though not specifically wedding dresses, they have some gorgeous long white dresses. In a recent recap a bride wore a Lulus dress for her reception outfit and it looked stunning.
Here’s an under 100 option I love: https://www.lulus.com/products/destined-to-dream-white-lace-maxi-dress/474892.html

There are like 23 pages of dresses under $600, I didn’t go through them all. All of her dresses are the legit name brand dresses, but they are previous seasons/years styles so thats why they are discounted. My dress was a Fall2013 design and I bought it in 2015 so I got a huge discount.
