@ZeldaHyrule:

I bought my mob gown from here.  http://www.keepmeinstitches.biz

Here is something that may work for you?  I went to my local drycleaner/seamstress and got measured then I called customer service and asked them what size I needed. I usually take a 2X but because of my tummy, I needed to order a 5x.  Plus if you are that close to your wedding I would want to call to make sure they had it in stock. Make sure that you read the fine print-they may charge you a re-stocking fee if you decide you don’t want it or it doesn’t fit.  I don’t have anything to do with them. Just a happy customer.   Anyway the dress quality was terrific!! This one with the bolero is a bridesmaid dress for $116.00  They also sell wedding dresses too, and other white Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses.  Feel free to PM me.

You can always add a bolero.  There are a lot of cute/inexpensive ones on etsy.  Good luck with your dress search!

Here is the 1st wedding dress I found and bought… It’s a size 16. I have since decided that I need a plainer dress for my venue. I am going to be selling this dress. I wear a street size 14/16/18 normally.

I like this Sottero and Midgley….

But don’t be afraid to try sleeveless! I was surprised how flattering it is.

Try IGIGI – they are a well-established plus sized clothing company based out of SF.  They have a wedding section for very moderate prices – looks about the $300 range.  I was looking into their dresses before I decided to go the wedding dress + bolero route.  Good luck!

@ZeldaHyrule: What is an LDS bride?  I think the idea of adding a bolero really makes sense and gives way more options.

You can wear ANY dress you want, and just buy a bolero, shawl or jacket!

LDS stands for Latter Day Saints (aka Mormon).
