I hated all of these on me so much lol I tried on two others I didn’t photograph and my dress was the 6th on. We only went to one salon. The absolute no I gave the bridal assistant was no strapless. After I tried on my dress I realized that was the best fit for my chest given how small it is and how low it sits.

The No’s:

My dread in the salon (2nd time I tried it on)/

My actual dress in horrible lighting:

and finally a mock up of the sleeves I’m adding – the tulle will be a nude and the lace will be what’s on my dress, but the same shape as shown:

This was the winner! I felt like a princess!

These were the other top  contenders. I knew my taste was leaning towards clean lines, no lace, and modern.

Honestly I tried on quite a few dresses and never really had an contenders besides the one I picked. I knew from the beginning I wanted sleeves and none of these dresses fit the bill. Here were some of the better ones…

and this is the dress I ended up with 🙂

Val13 :  Thank you! It’s from an Australian designer, Karen Willis Holmes, the dress is ‘Nikki’. Besides my husband, my dress was the only thing I never questioned durning the planning process. She just released a new collection and if the ‘Brie’ dress was available when I was looking it might have been hard to choose!

Dresses I didn’t pick! I either didn’t like the lace (the bottom one made me feel like they forgot there was suppose to be lace on 1/3rd of the dress), or they were too poofy! The dress I picked was the 3rd dress I tried on so nothing compared after that!

Dress I chose:

littlepenguin99 :  It is a Berta! Not sure which model # anymore but it would’ve been from around 2 seasons ago.
