Soon2BeMrsS: That is so pretty, that would have been on my list too, but satin didn’t suit me either.

Yes and yes!

Taryn, from J. Crew (long since discontinued). Before I was engaged, I almost bought this dress. It was exactly my style (relaxed, simple) and seemed like too perfect of a moment. I’m glad I didn’t, though.

The Megan by Edgardo Bonilla… the exact opposite of what I aimed to try on (fitted trumpet, all lace, full shoulder coverage) but very similar to what I bought (strapless ball gown with a tulle bottom)!

Cringeworthy moment? The description “The gown helps a bride look and feel like the traditional virgin bride.”.  No offense to virgins or virgin brides but that is not what I was looking for with a gown!

Mine is a Claire Pettibone, not spelled the same but close enough.  I love CP dresses but really don’t like this one – at all, especially the back and the fabric of the skirt.  It is now discontined, I think.

I have been so indecisive when it comes to Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses but when I was browsing online I came across a dress called “Janelle”. I took it as a sign lol and have ordered them for my girls to try on:

There are actually quite a few dresses with my name, but I had to post this one by Vera Wang.  Its really pretty, but would never pick it for myself, as I like clean lines and structure.  Funny enough my younger sister got married in a gown shockingly similar to this one.

Not after me, but the dress I ended up falling in love with is one of the 3 girl names we have agreed upon for future possible daughters! lol

I strongly dislike any dress that has my name. However, none of these are spelled exactly like my name…

Maggie Sottero (this one isn’t horrible):

Affinity Bridal:

This Watters dress isn’t so bad…

Apparently this dress is pretty popular. I would look ridiculous in it though!
