It looks very similar to the original!  You can tell that the quality of the fabric is inferior to the original though, or maybe it is just the lighting.

It is gorgeous and the ruching is fabulous. However, could they do something about the neckline? It looks more like an unfinished crumb catcher and a bit different from the Inspiration/Original picture.

The bottom and beading is lovely, they did a great job in my eyes. The top is different but I still like it. Wondering if I should order from there…hahaha

aside from the ruffling at the neckline looking a bit off, i think it’s a pretty good likeness!

I think its a very pretty dress, but not similar enough to the original considering its supposed to be a replica. I personally think the ruffle on top is too big and would have that fixed to be more like the replica, but other than that I really like the dress. Actually, even if you didn’t change it, I still really like it. Its very romantic.

The bodice on the original looks asymetrical, a bit lower on her left hip than the right, whereas your dress looks straight across.  Also, the ruffles on the top of the bodice on the replica looks a bit off.  Maybe they are just a bit too long?  I can’t tell from the pictures, but is it the same piece of fabric that is used for the bodice as flows down into the skirt?  Or is the bodice separate from the skirt and sewed together?  The original looks like one piece of fabric that is rouched in the bodice then flows into the skirt.  It looks really good, those are just nits!

The dress is a good copy.

Some feedback:

i) the crumb catcher thing is weird and does not at all look like the original.

ii) the beading and ruching look pretty nice

iii) the torso does kinda look long in comparison to the bottom. Seems like Dressilyme has this problem as the reception dress I ordered from them was like that as well.

It looks pretty similar to the original except as everyone else has mentioned, the quality of the fabric looks a little meak.

Also the corsette string looks a little brite…

the beading looks very well done! i think it’s a totally passable replica except for the ruffle at the top… it needs to be shorter and more gathered (ruffled)….

also i agree with a PP that the corset ribbon almost looks ivory compared to the ‘diamond white’ look of the dress? at any rate, it seems to be a different color (most likely due to it being a different fabric than the dress)? you might ask them to take a closer picture of that area and if it is different, then see if they could more closely match the color?

other than the ruffle on the bustline, it’s a gorgeous dress!!! congrats on a great success on your order! i can’t wait to see it on you! 🙂

@mysecreteden:  Can you please tell me what the name/style number is of the dress you’ve asked them to make?  It is gorgeous!  🙂

The replica looks like the original but the proportions are not as flattering as the original

Personally, I think they did a wonderful job, It looks very similar to the origional and I think if I didn’t have the pictures side by side I would never be able to tell. (just a guess, but I think most wedding guests won’t have pictures of the origional on hand as you walk down the isle)

The torso on the origional dress seems fairly long too, but I think the second pictures are just the lighting making it seem more ridgid there.

You are going to look gorgeus in that dress and i can’t wait to see pictures of you in it!
