Looks like it has organza or chiffon on top. Can’t answer why they won’t move the corset for you but it may have to do with patterns they already use and try to fit to custom gowns.

My best guess is that they can’t alter the corset back because of all the detail that starts immediately below it on the lower back. I’m guessing they’re worried about how much they would have to change those details to make it work.

ETA: if you ended up ordering it this way and it didn’t complete hide your belly, there are plenty of shapewear options 🙂

the outer part of the dress is  chiffon, the one underneath, you can use satin, taffeta, silk like satin, depends on which type of fabric you prefer.

i would recommend you to wear a shaperwear, instead of asking them to alter the corset back (a big risk)

I’m so sorry to hear it won’t work out! *hugs* Although the silver lining here is their honesty.  This isn’t the first time I’ve heard of Dressilyme saying they couldn’t replicate something.  If you’re sold on that dress, you try emailing Jasmine’s? They are more pricey, but they seem to have some higer quality materials.

Yes, try http://www.jasminesbridalshop.com.  They are another Chinese dress vendor.  They are a bit more $$$ (no where close to the cost of brand name dresses though), but they are able to do more than Dressily Me.
