Yes, I love it, don't change a thing!

No, I don't think it looks right...and here is what you need to have them fix:

I hate it and no amount of fixing will help!

I’m really enjoying the first-time posters popping up in this thread, singing the praises of the construction of the dress.

I’m not insinuating anything, but it just seems… ironic?

Okay I’m insinuating something.  Whatever.  ๐Ÿ™‚

@Mrs. Myrtle Beach:  Oh I’m not saying that they’re the only ones who like it – I think the craftsmanship is excellent, and even though JasmineBridal seems like a vendor to me,  they’ve provided excellent feedback to help you out.  It’s the other posters that have their first and only post so far be in this thread, singing praises.  That’s all I’m sayin’.  ๐Ÿ™‚

Your dress is gorgeous, and I’m glad that you asked them about the ruching. That’s the only blaring problem I saw. I hope it works out! I’m excited to see what the final product is like.

@KristenGotMarried: I was thinking the same thing. Especially given the use of grammar, punctuation and spelling–

I think it’s very nice!  I’d ask about the corset though.  It looks like it should tie further down.

@Mrs. Myrtle Beach: She’s the vendor. The website is in her profile info. It was super nice of her to help.

@Mrs. Myrtle Beach: It looks really good! I think it does look really close to the original. Are you getting a petticoat with this?

I only registered because I wanted to comment on this dress. It’s the first dressilyme dress with real pictures that I’ve seen where someone asked for something with an elaborate skirt with tonnes of pickups, and lots of Maggie-Sottero-esque drama, which is what I’m hopefully going to be ordering from them. It’s great to see that they can do sweet empire-waisted a-lines with lots of beading that other ladies have posted, but… I wanna see the pickups, baby. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I saw a few comments regarding the skirt and it not being full enough… but surely the model in the Maggie Sottero pic is wearing a petticoat underneath? I’m far from a dress conoisseur, but I know my sister-in-law’s dress looked flat and droopy until you got that multi-hoop petticoat underneath and it exploded into a princess ballgown. ๐Ÿ˜€

(Ahh, and I just read above that you’re not rockin’ a petticoat, nevermind!!!)

Either way, thanks for posting these, i’ve been lurking waiting to see how they handle the slightly more elaborate dresses..! And post pics of you in it when you get it!!!

It looks great. Clearly it is not the best replica but for $140 it is amazingly close. I think it looks pretty good in the end but as long as you are happy then that is all that matters.
