I’m so excited I finallty received pictures of my dress. I placed the order for my dress on October 9th and they just sent me pictures a couple hours ago.
Here is what I sent them, based off of two seperate Sincerity Bridal dresses:
and now here are the photos they sent me of my dress:
I wanted the neck line a little more scooped which in turn would make the straps thinner.
Not sure how i feel about those last 3-4 pleats that look half done. wouldnt know how to describe how to fix them or do they look ok compared to the original???
again in the back of the dress the last few pleats look half done.
you can see those last few undone pelats better here. Also I’m a little disappointed because compared to the original photo, the back line was not straight across it was more V shaped. I dont know if they can fix this without tearing the entire dress apart. oh and thry told me beforehand that they couldnt add in the crystal buttons like I had asked for which was fine.
going to make sure the ruching at the bust line on the left side are even like the opposite side and not actually wrinkled or unflat like they appear to be here.
Overall, I am pretty pleased, just a couple changes I would want done but I’m afraid they require tearing the top part of the dress apart so I’m not sure its something they will do.
Also, I am so short only 4’11 and I asked them to make my hollow to hem 53 inches so I could wear with 3 in heels. I wanted the ruching to stop at mid-hip. Do you think it does?? I wanted a fit and flare gown, NOT a mermaid, it makes a big difference on a short girl like me.
Thoughts, suggestions. changes??

I love it!! It’s beautiful!

@tiff-tiff-tiff: THANK YOU! Do you see any issues with the dress?

@angcamp84: It doesn’t look like the rouching goes all the way down to the mid-thigh like the inspirations, also they didn’t add the proper gather at the top of the train, it looks like they made you a droped a-line dress and not the trumpet you were looking for.

@angcamp84: I wouldn’t make any changes. The fit on the mannequin would not be the same as the fit on you. I believe that it would be beautiful on you. They seem as if they filled your request to the T

@KingsDaughter: How do you think I could ask for the those changes? I’m not really sure what you mean about the proper gather at the top of the train.

Yes I agree that the ruching isnt long enough. Also I would ask for the opening of the neckline to be wider. In the original the strap is much thinner as it transitions to the back.

I thought you wanted crystal buttons

@angcamp84: Tell them how you want it, if they have to tear it apart, don’t worry. What you sent them was specific so they need to make the adjustments. Send the original photos again, and draw arrows to the problem areas of the pics hey sent so they can fix what you want. Circle the deeper back V and the back of the dress in the photos they sent. You can go as far as a check markcover the back you want and an X over the back in the pic they sent. Custom means revisions, that’s just the way it is some times. HTHs

@AnaA: when I sent them the photos, they said they could only do regular buttons and that I would have to do the crystal ones on my own, so I said that was fine.
@MrsKady: thank you, yes that helps. thats a good idea I will send the original and circle the deep V back line and compare it to theirs.

@angcamp84: What I notice about the differences in the neckline is that the original photo shows almost a boatneck on the illusion part, which makes the straps look thinner. I would either see what they can do to mimic the boatneck style (although that might be hard) or have them possibly just make the straps a little less thick. Otherwise, I think it’s fantastic. I’m a petite bride also, so I definitely understand wanting it to start flaring at midhip. My dress also does that!

Looks good for a replica!

it’s pretty but the back looks straight across vs the slight v back on the pics.
i agree with pp regarding the boat neck vs the scoop neck.

@MrsKady: call me crazy but do you guys see a difference in the neck line from Photo 1 and photo 4? I feel like in photo 4 the neckline does look more boatneck then in their frist photo but I’m not sure if its just because the background is different or because my eyes are playing tricks on me.
