Honestly you can’t really judge it till it’s on
but as a fellow short bride dresses look so different on such tall
modela it’s one of the things I hated about dress shopping.
stoping the rushing mid hip
i think is going to change so so so much
of the dress but defiantly ask for exactly what you think you want and I hope it turns out perfect

crossing my fingers you’ll be completely satisfied with the next round.
May I just ask about The pictures – did they offer or did you request them? I’ve just ordered a couple of days ago and asked for mid-production pictures and she said it’s too busy a time for them to Provide pictures so i’m a bit worried.

@MsquareM: be persistent! I had to ask then 3 times and basically made myself sound very annoying until they said they would provide photos. I would have kept asking until they said yes I wasn’t taking no for an answer.
The first time I was just like I’d like to see some photos, I’m willing to pay, I’m nervous what the dress will look like. They reassured me it will be fine and that their dressmakers are really good but they were busy and no time for photos. I replied immediately and basically said the same thing but with more persistent language to which their reply was the same. My last reply was me saying that I wanted photos, I was willing to pay, that I chose them to make my dress because a lot of other girls had received photos of their dresses, and that I didn’t want to give them a bad review. That’s when they agreed to it but only after saying that it would extend how how long it took to make my dress.
It really did not extend how long it took them to make the dress but I feel my process was longer than normal because I went back and forth with them a few times for changes/revisions.
they finally shipped it last week and it’s in transit so fingers crossed that I love it.
If you want word for word what I said to them send me a PM and I’ll copy and paste it for you.

@angcamp84: Many thanks for the explanation and encouragement. I shoudln’t have been that nice 😉 I’ll give it another shot and would love to have alook at what convinced them to send you pics so I’ll send a message just now.
Fingers crossed your dress looks as lovely in real life!

@angcamp84: did you receive your dress by now? Did they make all The changes you requested? Crossing my Fingers you love it 🙂

@angcamp84: your dress is lovely, I hope it comes out just the way you want it!!
I really want to receive pics before they send it off, but they said no. I would like to be more persistent, but the only problem is that I am not sure I have enough time – wedding is 8 Feb 2014, and I’ll be leaving the country 28 Jan 2014, so I will need it before then! *sigh*

I looks geat! Cant wait to see it on you! Im loking at Dressilyme or Jasmines do make my dress.
@MrsSmithToBee: I’ve also looked at both. Because of the better price, I went with dressilyme. Just got my lave dress and they really did a good job! I’ll post pics soon.
Also, before you order, get dressilyme to confirm sending pics of your dress before shipping it out. I believe jasmine’s have stopped this service altogether, it was in a recent thread here.

not to be rude or anything, it’s a pretty dress…but how come you didn’t just get an actual sincerity dress? They aren’t very expensive at all, and it’d be exactly what you wanted…and also, MUCH better quality?
Again, it’s a lovely dress, but you could have just got the first sincerity dress, and had a seamstress just put the illusion top on for you…it’s a pretty simple thing to get altered, then it would have been perfect. 🙂
always an option.

@nearly_mrs_griffiths: I was also wondering that. It’d be interesting to see what the price point is for the Dressilyme dress.
