I’ve been reading everyones posts on dressilyme.com and they all seem very positive. I’ve seen pics of everyones dresses and they all see beautiful – why am I still so nervous though???! I was wondering if everyones dresses were true to size or did you have to get them adjusted at all?
Any reassurance from anyone would be great.

I bought my reception dress from them and I absolutely love it. I am having to get mine altered but only because I have no boobs so Ill be adding cups and a split, but other than that, its great. They have really great customer service also.

I had a great experience with them in the end (Bride brain tends to make everything 100% worse) The lace obviously wasn’t as nice of quality but thats to expect when you are paying $300 for a $5000 dress. They didn’t do two things that I discussed with them before they bought the dress. I wanted buttons on the back and an applique remove however they didn’t put it in my custom listing so it didn’t happen. I would recommend that every little detail of your dress is put into that custom listing. They did give me a partial refund for the mistake. I sent them pictures of the stock picture, me in the dress and a photoshopped picture where I showed them where my favorite details were (there was scalloped layers on the grown that were hard to see in the pictures) It also didn’t fit like the original did when I got it, it actually made me look really frumpy and I was so worried that I had a huge alteration on my hands. However when I took it into seamstress all it needed was to be taken in an inch in the straps and everything fit beatifully (I think this was one of the only mesurments they didnt ask for). Just make sure to measure twice you don’t want to have the measurments wrong and it not fit.

Thanks both, they do seem like a genuinely decent company – I think I may go for it as I can afford a £2,000 dress like my sister in law had.
I think I may start writing down all the instructions and details so that I don’t forget anything when I come to order it – wish me luck! xx

I’m in the middle of an order with them right now. I had them make two dresses, a reception dress and a ceremony dress. The reception dress is perfect. But they bungled the ceremony dress by putting white applique on an ivory dress. If i had ordered a white dress i’m sure it would have been fine. But if you plan to order ivory or a diff color, just double check that everything will be in that color.
Saying that however, after a bit of back and forth, they are fixing it for me, and they’ve been communicating constantly, and sending me pic’s of the applique/lace that they’re going to use so i still give them high marks.

They do sound like they really want to correct anymistakes that they make – did you notice the colour difference on a photo they sent you or did you notice it once they sent you the dress?
Which dress did you go for??
Im getting sooo excited now! X

I noticed it right away in the pictures they sent. (Which you have to ask them to do if you want them).
I have a thread going detailing all the steps along the way.
Dressilyme just sent me pictures! Good News and Bad! (pics)
They’re really nice and I feel a little bad for the whole mis-understanding. But I am spending a decent chunk of money with them!
