TwinkleBoss:   Rest assured, we all have these “am I alone on This planet? am I thinking sanely ?” Moments. My honest advice would be to figure out what style makes you most happy and what is easiest for transport.  If having a cohesive look is important, go for all silk. If the dried is important for sentimental reasons, would it be possible to downscale where you want them so you have enough?  i vote to stick with one or the other.

That being said, I’m a little hypocrite who means well. Flowers are important to me so I’m doing lots of white flowers (of varying kinds) free form that I am buying wholesale and traveling 3.5 hrs with. vision:  i do however want flowers that I can put around decor items and have set up the day prior without water. (Think, around the altar, around frames, hanging in trees from wine bottles) so i am creating 100’s of coffee filter flowers

That will be available should I feel I need “more” and I’m in the middle of nowhere. These are cheap, easy to make while watching a movie, travel perfectly and fun to make that my whole bridal party has been making them too. They are basic enough that they blend with my real flowers. Just wanted to let you know you are not alone. Xoxo
