Hi! I am doing the same thing and I am bit confused myself 😉

It looks like 16oz is 80-120 stems and looks like like this. Looks big enough for one or possibly two bouquets.  This online store sells each bundle for $14.99. There’s a bulk discount if you need more than 12. Could be a saver if you are using them for decoration as well.

Are you carring the wheat as well? What are you tying it with? I am looking for bunches of basil (green) wheat.

I’m using dried wheat as well.  I’ve been purchasing it at either Hobby Lobby or Michael’s as needed. (I think one bunch probably comes with 30-40 stems).  For one of the centerpieces, I used a vase with floral foam on the inside to arrange the wheat as I wanted.  I used potpourri around the foam to cover it up.

You can get 12oz bundles of washed and preserved wheat at Save-on-Crafts.com for only $7.99 right now…I think that’s the cheapest I’ve seen latley. Great ideas guys! LOVE the wheat centerpieces!
