I have a Droid. My fiance has an iPhone.

I personally find the iPhone MUCH better. I’m not an Apple fan, I really want to like the Droid, but as much as it pains me to say it, the Droid is not as good as the iPhone. The iPhone’s operating system is streamlined and smooth. The Droid operating system is clunky and laggy.

When Verizon gets the iPhone, I’m switching phones. (I’m pretty much locked into having Verizon, they are the only carrier with even semi-reliable service out in the sticks where my parents live. I prefer at least one of us (my fiance or I) have phone service when we go visit family.)

My son has an iPhone, and loves it. I am jealous of his phone. It is do easy to use and has a big screen, and I love how you can read the screen across or up and down. I am also elegible for an upgrade, so I will probably be getting an iPhone soon.

Oh this is a Droid household right now. We had iPhones and the Droid just blows it out of the water IMO. I hate Apple. I hate that you can only have Apple apps. Every stupid iPhone commercial that says, “Can your phone do that?” well yes iPhone, Droid does. Droid had voice navigation before iPhone. I don’t know if it does now. I love the FLASH on Droid. I love the Android Market. I love that ANYONE can make an app. And plus, when you start your phone up, it says DROOOOID. How can you even pass that up!?
My Droid is lighting quick and never freezes. Tunee is a great app to download free music. Shop Savy lets me scan barcodes in the store and compare prices on the internet or other local stores. Google syncs with EVERYTHING! If I lose my phone, I don’t lose my contacts. I just love it.

-sings- Anything an iPhone can do, a Droid can do better. Droid can do anything better than an iphone. Yep.

I have a droid phone and I LOVE it. Droid phones are fully customizable, whereas iphones are not. And like Ms. Tattoo said, there are thousands of free third party apps. One of my faves is the kindle app!

Darling Husband and I both just got droids a week ago and I already LOVE IT. I think the iPhone is a little more user friendly at first…like to figure out its just more straightforward. However, now that I have played with my droid a little and gotten used to it and started figuring out all the things it can do i love it so much. My husband is pretty obsessed with his as well. I love that I can customize my homescreen…the camera is really good on the phone….comes with a Navigation app…voice search in the phone and google and voice text….swype texting is pretty cool too – you just drag your finger across the touchscreen onto the letters and it knows what word you are trying to type – its crazy!

I have the Droid Comet and my husband has the HTC G2 – mine is only $10 or 20 with the $50 rebate and my husbands was about $200 – his has a slide out keyboard as well as a touch screen and when you rotate the phone the screen rotates, his phone is about the same size as an iPhone as well. My phone is smaller with no keyboard and the touchscreen is a little harder to get used to because its so small but considering how cheap it is its awesome!

I have the EVO too and I love it! Google amazes me! I have friends with iphones and IMO the android operating system is better for customizing and features!

I have a droid 2, and I love it! I love that it has a full, physical keyboard. In my opinion, that puts it miles about the iPhone, but I also have clumsy fingers. Good luck deciding!

I’m biased since I’ve had the iPhone since day 1 and upgraded every time but I totally vote iPhone. Fiance also happens to be an iPhone developer so we will be iPhone users pretty much until the end of time.

I have the HTC EVO, as well, and I’ve just got to chime in on the awesomeness of the droid. I had an iPhone, and I feel that the droid platform is just so much better- and I don’t have to deal with Apple/ATT this way. I hate both of them so much.

I love my droid!  It’s easy to use and it does everything that I want it to.
