I took my ring off last night and set it on the table next to the couch. When I went to grab the remote for the TV, I knocked the ring onto the hardwood floor. Now when it brushes against something or I move my hand, it rattles! The center stone is definitely loose. I’m going to take it to the jeweler today – Fiance got the lifetime warranty so I know they’ll take care of it, but I’m worried I ruined it and/or they’re going to have to take it away for a few weeks. Any good thoughts or has anyone else done this so I don’t feel quite so silly for worrying?!

I’ve done this, a few times hah. They prongs had just come lose so they had to tighten it. It didnt take very long to do, atleast for me, since the jeweller was on hand when I went.

Agree it’s probably just a loose prong. Depends on your jeweler how long it will take to fix. Mine does everything in house so I know I could probably get it back the same day. Other places seem to send out for everything.

Thank you both! It helps to know that I’m not the only one who has done this and that they will hopefully be able to fix it fairly quickly.
