I’m freaking out, I dropped my engagement ring on the concrete floor at work today.
I’m going straight to the jeweler tomorrow, for a check.
I’m scared I’ve cracked the centre stone, please reassure me it’s all okay,
I feel sick 🙁

I have dropped mine a few times, with no harm done.
Get it checked, but I am sure it will be fine : )

Thanks for the reassurance, I’m hoping I’m seeing girdle reflection and not a crack. Pricescope has helped calm me down. Apparently a lot of people notice things that were always there after they give it their first good bang or drop … fingers crossed : /

Diamonds are considered to be extremely strong stones. I wouldn’t worry about it at all.

Diamonds are pretty hard to break, I doubt that you caused damage to it.

You’ll have lots of “accidents” with your ring and your ring will be fine most if not all of the time. As time goes on, you’ll worry less about it.
This past week I’ve been repeatedly scraping my ring against the car door (my 16 year old daughter is learning to drive, causing both of us to keep readjusting the driver’s seat). Every time I do it I cringe – then I check my ring and it’s fine.

I had my last ring for 11 years and never took it off and knocked in on everything possible and never had anything happen to my diamond. I’m sure it’s fine. 🙂

and if by some crazy million to 1 chance that something is wrong with it, insurance will pay for it!!
I’m sure it’s fine 🙂
