Laides I’m going on a shopping spree at CVS tomorrow and it’s all about ME! I’m seven weeks out from the wedding and really hoping to have some awesome skin by the time the wedding comes along. I have normal skin that breaks out on occassion and I can’t deny that I’m a bit of a picker of when I do break out so I do have a tiny bit of scarring. I’d love any day washes / facials products / toners / etc!!
Have any great recommendations?

I like aveno stuff, but when it comes to makeup dior has an awesome “airbrush” foundation that covers up any and all flaws. Its $60 but its well worth it!

I love Neutrogena’s Dual Mask/Cleanser. I’m prone to breaking out and this really helps without drying out my skin!

@honey – I’ve heard good things about aveno elsewhere! thanks!!
@potatochips -I hate products that dry my skin, especially in the winter, thanks!!

I use the Derma E line now and I love it. I saw it at first at Whole Foods but now I get it at vitacost.com I have very reactive skin and I can’t experiment with new stuff at all. The Derma E is the first line that I can use the whole line with no issues. They make their products with ingredients like you ususally only find in clinical lines

@arizona – I do have a Whole Foods nearby I can stop by too … I didnt really think about their organic beauty products, but it’s probably a good place to look! thanks!
(i’m heading out to dinner but keep the ideas coming! thanks!!)

I LOVE the PanOxyl bar–it keeps my skin really clear. But, it’s drying so you have to moisturize well and only use it once a day.

I really like L’Oreal skin genesis moisturizer or serum. Gotten a lot of compliments on the skin since I started using it.

If you head to Whole Foods, check out Dr. Hauschka products – they are pricey, but they have made my formerly crappy skin (oily, break-out prone, just generally BLAH), amazng!! I swear by them.
I also like Cetaphil’s face cleanser, which you should be able to find at CVS. It’s super gentle.

I dont think you can find this product at a drug store, but I bought it at a department store counter. Its called Kiehls over-night biological peel. It helps speed up the exfloiation process of your skin and makes it really smooth and glowing. It sounds like we have different skin types( i have dry skin and dont have break outs) but i think this would be good for anyones skin. I found that it has made my skin amazing. You may want to check it out!

Biore pore unclogging scrub is about the only thing that has worked well for me. For lotion I’d splurge on a nice night cream, but for the daytime, I think purpose or something basic can be best. Do you have a decent make up remover? (ponds cold cream helps keep my face from drying out too much).

For skin, nothing has worked better than Clinique skincare! That’s even including doctor-prescription stuf. LOVE love love love it.

Kind of bland here, but I just switched back to Noxzema after using Clinique facewash and I love, love, love the Noxzema. I still use Clinique moisturizer because I can’t stand the perfumes in most stuff.
