I use Garnier Pure Skin Deep Clean foaming cleanser at night (just wash my face with water in the shower in the morning) and Simple Light Hydrating moisturiser morning and night, plus sunscreen in the morning (I used to use a Dove moisturiser with SPF in it but I can’t get it any more for some reason).  I also use a St Ives apricot scrub twice a week.  My skin is fairly normal, for reference.  Oh and for makeup removal the best thing I’ve found is Garnier Makeup Removal Sensitive 2-in-1.  I wear contact lenses and have had some issues with makeup remover irritating my eyes but that one is great.

I use Yes to Carrots face wash, and I love it.  It’s on the creamier side, and it doesn’t dry me out like most others I’ve tried.  It also keeps any blemishes at bay better than any others I’ve used.

I use a specialty moisturizer though.  It’s by DeVita brand, and has SPF 30.  It’s light and non-greasy enough that I wear it every day under my makeup.  It’s pricey though.

At night, if my face feels dry, I just put some coconut oil on my face, avoiding the forehead and nose.  It sinks in quickly and feels nice.

Whatever you decide, choose something that doesn’t have microbeads. They’re awful for our ocean & environement. California just banned them actually! But I use most neutrogena products & love them, except for the spf 15 moisturizer, I have found that it makes my skin very oily!

tarynk35:  I’ve always found it at Target in makeup section. Recently I’ve started seeing it at some Walgreens too. I’m sure you could always order it off Amazon too!

I’ve had sensitive skin with cystic acne forever. Even Ponds or Yes To X made me break out.  My winning combo is: CeraVe Hydrating Face Wash (I believe that’s it. It’s either hydrating or moisturizing to prevent my face from drying out and triggering more oil production) and then following with Cetaphil Moisturizing Face Lotion with SPF.

But it will likely vary GREATLY from person to person.  My bro’s winning combo is Neutrogena oil free acne wash followed by a Nivea for Men moisturizer.

I use Loreal Sublime Fresh face wash and I actually use the Aveeno Daily Moiturizing lotion (like the stuff for hands) every day. I used to have really bad acne, but haven’t had a breakout in about 2 years! I use Nivea toner as well. I also really like the Simple brand stuff!

futuremrsm16:  Aveeno fan here… I use these. Love them. First two for face, last for arms/legs/body.

I have “normal skin” haha but I love anything Burt’s Bees. They don’t test on animals which is a plus! Same with Alba and Yes to…

Neutrogena Fresh Foam Cleanser. Excellent at taking off my makeup at the end of the day.

Highly recommend. Its the only one i use now after years of trying others.

I use Aveeno for both face wash and moisturizer. I love the little cleansing pads. I have pretty dry skin and really only ever wash my face to exfoliate. These do a good job at that without drying my skin out. I’ve also been using their moisturizer for years. I have pretty sensitive skin as well and this has never made me break out in hives or turn red
