Missmollyblue:  I can’t recommend any cleaners or alterations, but I wanted to suggest you take it to get altered first, since they may be able to spot clean it for you.  If you’ve only worn it around the house for a few times, I doubt it needs to be dry cleaned.  That could be expensive, plus there is always a small risk they could lose or damage your dress.  I ended up buying a sample dress that is pretty dirty at the hem, but I’m going to take it to get hemmed first, and then see if any remaining dirty areas can be spot cleaned.
