Here’s the deal:
January 2009 Cam got a DUI. He was 20 at the time (his birthday is in March d’oh) and blew a .082. Go figure, huh?
He did his community service and even started attending ARD until I got really sick in May and he missed an ARD to take me to the hospital. He was then told he couldn’t make it up.
Is it worth it for us to pay for a lawyer to try to get him back into ARD? Or should he just deal and wait for the courts to actually give him a court date (anytime soon would be great) so he can find out how long he’ll be in jail, the court fees/extra fines he’ll have, how long he’ll lose his license, and how long he’ll be on probation(the thing keeping him from going into the army).
He has been pretty depressed lately … sleeps alot … and I know alot of it is because he feels like he’s going nowhere right now as the courts pull him around. So, any advice bees?
