Wow! You made me hungry and I love those dresses! My dad was born in Rotterdam and my maiden name is Rysdyk. He passed away 21 years ago right after I had my son. My Italian mom learned to cook so many things for him and we tried to keep many traditions alive for my kids. I haven’t been able to afford to take my children to see the Dutch relatives but my daughter is dying to go. My remaining family that I’d like to visit asap live in Scheveningen. Thank you for this post!
