we love travelling too and had plans to move around and live in different places before having kids. but we knew 100% that we wanted kids.  And then we got pregnant before we could follow through on any of our exciting plans to relocate (in New Zealand for example!).  But we talked about it and decided we still want to live somewhere else for a couple of years….even with a baby!  It will still be an experience.  We just plan to find a place to settle down in before our kid needs to start school.  we don’t plan on moving around once she’s in school until she graduates!

We personally are not having kids but it has nothing to do with travelling. I lived in 10 different countries before the age of 16 so I am a big believer that having kids doesn’t mean that you can’t see the world. Sharing your love of travel is a great gift to give a child in my opinion as it makes them more tolerant and understanding of diferent cultures and ways of life.

I have an 8 month old baby girl. I love to travel too but I hope to have at least one more one day. I may not be able to because of my bad gene pool, that’s why we had our daughter before our wedding. We still have plenty of time if the family curses skip me.

@traveller:  Thanks! I hope it works out for you too! My sister has endo and she had a little girl 6 years ago! My mom had PCOS and had her ovaries removed in the 70’s and still got pregnant with my sister and then me. One of my aunts lost a battle to cervical cancer and my other aunt had both uterine and breast cancer. It’s so scary.

We want kids but definitely not for a while. We have a list of places we need to travel before having kids. Once we finish that then I guess we will see if we are ready.

We actually had a Destination Wedding because we want to travel AND we want children. So our whole wedding year theme has been travel basically…taking little breaks together, going on our dream honeymoon, having our wedding someplace we had never been. Our first wedded Christmas we will travel, and we plan on doing another trip together with friends in the fall. We are going all those places we just want to go. That way we can TTC and have LOs! 😀

I’ve never wanted children and I’ll be 30 next year and I never will want them. I’ve never been maternal and I generally dont like children (please don’t hate).

I want to spend the rest of my life travelling to lots of places with my Fiance and incorporate that into a Destination Wedding and honeymoon.

We are 30 and love to travel. We want kids, but we really want to travel more so not sure when we will start trying.
