Congrats on your engagement. I am currently planning my wedding in Punta Cana at Majestic Resort,I went thru them directly for info and using Liberty travel for reservations and flights. Hope this helps

I was a guest so I don’t know much but I did have a blast.  We met up with the couple for a couple of meals, their wedding, some water volleyball, etc.  Mostly we’d just run into people at the resort or find out about excursions and we’d go, except for a few meals and the actual wedding we did our own thing.  I can’t wait to go back

Going to one this August and I’m not entirely sure what the wedding itself is costing the couple (they’re doing it a bit pricier since they’re hosting the actual wedding off site from the resort). As guests, we are paying $1900 CAD per person.

Fiance and I are planning for Maya Riviera, Mexico for January 2020 and it’s shaping up to be about $17,000 CAD for the wedding plus our travel costs (though much of those will end up being reimbursed with travel credits).  We have a large number of guests though (budget it based on 100 guests. Hoping it ends up being smaller than that).

We had friends do theirs in Jamaica in January 2016 with a group of about 60 guests and they only spent $8,000 (however, they didn’t have a sit down dinner with their reception and some of the other nicer things like that. Just a 3 hours dance in a tucked away room). Other friends had a super ballin Destination Wedding at the Hard Rock Cancun in May 2016 with about 30 guests that cost them about $15,000.
