I’ve been on the hunt for a pair of cute, yellow peep toes to wear on my big day. After all this time, it looks like I’ve found them 🙂 Yay me right!?! Actually, yeah, um they’re white. I found them at David’s Bridal. The sales associate told me I could order the shoe in white and for about $4.00, they would dye the shoes yellow for me.
Before placing my oder, I wanted to consult with the Hive. Has anyone bought shoes for David’s Bridal and had them dyed with them also? What was your experience like? Thanks everyone!!!

@keturahrussell: I would love to see a pic or have the style number of your shoes? I am on the hunt for green peep toe flats/or small wedges! and the more I look, the more I think I will be in your same situation! I do not know anyone that has had a “bad” experience buying dyeable shoes but I would just be sure about the date that they are expected to come in! I do know someone that waited for a long time!

I have seen shoes that have been dyed through DB and they look very nice; however, before you get dyed shoes, you may want to reconsider. If you get them wet, the dye will be on your feet.

here are the shoes:
They looks so nice in person! I love heels and these are perfect, not too tall and they were pretty comfortable when I walked around in them in the store. The DB website had some cute options for dyeable flats and kitten heels. Check em out.
The sales associate said it would take 3 weeks for the shoe to come in and about a week to have them dyed, they do that part locally. So it looks like I’ll have enough time if I order them over the weekend. I’m also not worried about them getting wet. I’ll only have them on for a short time as I’m getting married barefoot on the beach. I just wanted some cute yellow shoes for the mini-reception and pictures afterward.
