I had my shoes dyed, and didn’t have any problems with bleeding. You can get a spray sealant at shoe stores and give them a few coats so they’re less likely to bleed or get damaged if they’re exposed to water.

I’m hoping to hear the same thing – am considering getting dyeables for my wedding shoes and making them purple!  I think the store that dyes them is supposed to make sure they don’t run – just make sure you use someone reputable.

Also – if you don’t have your heart set on matching – try nude!  It makes your legs look longer and goes with anything….all my BM’s will actually be in nude shoes.  Good luck!
