I found a dress that I really like, but it only comes in white and ivory. But the ivory is very light. I was hoping for a more antique, light latte/champagne-ish coloured dress. Has anyone had their white dress dyed just a little bit darker? If so, who did it for you and how much did it cost? I’m sure those are factors that vary from town to town and dress to dress, but I’m just curious about others’ experiences.

Moved for you! You might be able to dye it yourself with RIT dye depending on the fabric.

thank you much!
i thought about that…i think the lining is a satin-type material and then the rest of it is tulle and lace. pretty basic, really. i would just be worried it would come out uneven if it did it myself. of course, trusting a stranger to do it is also scary!

Man that just sounds really dangerous! A wedding dress is a big investment and I would hate to hear that it got botched by someone who claimed they could do the job. It could turn out the wrong color, as in too dark, and that might be waaaay worse!
