I am in love with Martha’s idea for encrypted save the dates! Has anyone made these before? I printed one off today to see how it would look and I can see all the save the date information without even using the decoder! HELP! Anyone 🙂

@tawandrey: I think they are very cute, but as a guest they’d be a little hard. What if you lost the decoder?
Usually I put Save-The-Date Cards that I receive on the fridge so I can glance at the details as needed. This one I’d have to remember to keep track of the decoder to look at the necessary details.

It looks like a red pattern over blue/green lettering. You could try making the blue color a little lighter in your text editing program. Good luck!

@ljhanner: i ended up creating my own template. I was trying to use martha stewarts, but hers didn’t work! thanks for the suggestion 🙂

@KatNYC2011: I think worrying about keeping track of the decoder or losing the decoder kinda sucks the fun outta the cards. : ) I invision that it will all stay together, at least long enough that the guest can get the information they need and put it on their calendar! Like the Sa-Th-Da card, I live with ROSE colored glasses.
