I would be really careful about dying anything with rhinestones on it.  I think your best option would be the last pair you’ve shown.  My mom had her shoes dyed purple for my brother’s wedding and she was really happy with how they turned out.

I would keep looking before I’d dye shoes.  It makes me nervous!  Is your wedding outside?  I’ve heard if the grass is wet it can ruin the dye job.  Good luck!

Don’t dye shoes – it’s too easy to ruin them (they get any wetness on them and they can be done for – want to chance damp grass, spilled drinks, and out-of-no-where rain).

What about these shoes?  They’re really similar to the second pair you posted.  And I’d bet a shoe cobbler could remove the ankle strap if you’d prefer not to wear that.

Ok – I’ll preface this with the fact that I like trying to hunt down shoes for people.  What do you think of any of these (they’re both available in 7/7.5!)?

Or I’ve been waiting for someone I could show these to who wanted a pop of purple because I think they’re so cute but they’re too small for me!

Or you could find some basic purple peep toe pumps and add a show clip.  This website has a ton of options! http://www.absolutelyaudrey.com/

Your wedding isn’t until March?  Would you want to buy my wedding shoes from me after my wedding?  They are size 7.  You can PM me if interested…

If you want to post a picture of your dress, I’d be happy to give you my opinion as to whether either of those two shoes go with it (since you’re unsure)!

Hummm …. I agree, that second pair I posted might not really go with your dress but I don’t see any problem with pointy toed shoes (so long as you’d get them for the wedding even if your FI isn’t a fan!).

your first option for dying (the white ones) are beautiful and i can see them looking even better in purple! i am a purple shoe bride right now and i love when people incorporate colors in their wedding shoes (to each their own, if you like it- go for it!) here are my wedding shoes (badgley mischka eavan)
