Member@pengoala: I love mine and also got it at Costco! I have a dog and a cat and the spinny attachment that comes with the animal version is amazing. I thought my old vacuum did a good job until I used the Dyson and realized we were living in filth, haha.

Another YES vote here! my husband already had it when we married and I swear it’s changed my life. I actually LIKE doing the vacuuming now and it gets our floors amazingly clean.

we have a dyson and it’s great. it’s actually one of the things we bought with our wedding money.
my mil has an animal dyson (they have 2 dogs) and she loves it. my dh had the animal dyson when he was previously married and he loved it too.

@pengoala: Have you looked at Sharks? That’s what I ended up getting. Seems like a lot of people rank them up there with dyson and they’re about half the cost (or less, use a coupon at bed bath and beyond!). I love mine and it’s great with dog hair.

I think so. I just got an older DC29 from my parents (who replaced it with a new Dyson model). We love it!

I’ve had mine for 5 years, got it for $100 off during a Black Friday sale! and I love it. I have the DC07 (the one that first came in pink) and the matching hand held vacuum, love them both. After using mine my mom went out and purchased the Dyson ball.

@pengoala: My DH actually brought his Dyson into our relationship! I had a cheapo one from Target and he had a Dyson, so when we moved in together we kept his. It’s been good, but we don’t have heavy duty vacuuming needs (no pets, small apartment, I have OCD so I actually clean our floors by hand quite a bit) so I’m probably not the best judge.

I love my Dyson, it works well for our needs. My old vacuum was heavy and the band kept breaking. So we replaced it during a black Friday sale. The Dyson is light and works pretty well.
