You’re having your engagement photos taken at a prison??? I’m sorry, but the symbolism there is not what I’d be going for.

@oneofthesethings: yeah that’s what i was thinking. I know it’s kinda a fad to have all these bizzar e-photos about things that are morbid like death and stuff. IS that really what you wanna look at in 30 years or what about if your spous dies, god forbid? Ugh, well maybe i’m just an old-bat joykill.

@oneofthesethings: haha! Ball and chain! I didn’t think of it til now!

You two are overthinking this. Their wedding theme is Til Death, so in an unsual way, it makes sense.
With that said…
I like the flats with the stripey shirt.

Out of these outfits I think I like the last one the most (flats + striped sweater). However, I think that if you go with gray/dark/prison-striped, you won’t really get the same contrast you’d get with a gritty backdrop and bright/girly outfit.

Personally, I think the local for your photos, even though you didn’t ask for my opinion, is so cool. I’m jealous.
I also like the flats. Your build seems limilar to mine. While I love boots, they make me look short; so, good choice on that.
I think I like the second one without the jacket. The infinity scarf/cowl thing is nice with it.

I would wear a bright colored sweater with the black jeans and flats.

@Sapphire-Dreamer: THANK YOU! first person who got it! Our wedding theme is “Til Death Do Us Part” we are not your normal couple. we collect oddities and such so this place is US. we can do it in a random park but that is not us so what is why we choose such a “odd” spot it fits us!
@jenilynevette: thanks 🙂 ahh you remember me 🙂
i found the stripe sweater tucked away i dont even remember getting it, i wasnt sure if that would be to many lines, with the prison bars and such. Also the color- i like darks as you can see from my photos the dark green is my fav, but i mostly stick to blacks and grays…i wasnt sure if i should try to finda brighter color? i did like the feel of it being dark…here is a photo of another couple there in a dressier outfit
i only have a few days to go shopping as my photographer wants to shoot on Nov 11! AH!

I like the flats.
BUT I also like the second pair of boots, with the black bow? They just seem cooler than all the other boots 😀
Either way, I vote black pants.
And don’t worry about not being a girly-girl… just be yourself!!!
Wear something you’re comfy in that makes you feel like a million bucks (but maybe not PJ’s, which is what I’d choose haha)
By The Way, did you ever see our e-photos? They’re on the Bee somewhere.
I know I mentioned to you a while ago that we switched outfits, I mean… I literally changed by the side of the truck, it was easy! That way I got to wear different shoes and clothes.
OK found em, they’re here: http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/our-engagement-photos-are-in-pics#axzz2j3KVD9SV

Ha! At first, I thought you were going to say that your Fiance was in prison, in which case I was going to mention you might have bigger concerns than your wardrobe. :)-
I like the boots, and my favorite look is second row, all the way on the right. But, I also like third row, all the way on the right. I agree with CakeyP, that a wardrobe change could be a smart idea.

@AndysCraftsNmore: What about the outfit with the open black jacket and the flats? I like the flats better but I am worried the stripy sweater may be too busy for your FIs flannel shirt. (When I hear flannel I think plaid pattern… is that right?)
First off she asked about what to wear not people’s opinions about where she is having her pictures taken….with that being said:
@AndysCraftsNmore I love the green sweater and black pants and maybe the black ballet flats you are wearing in the last picture. Also, both of those pairs of boots are great!

I get the striped sweater, but I honestly think you could find something more flattering.
You have a good figure but all of the outfits cut you in thirds which is not the most flattering.
Could you wear the striped sweater for a few shots then change into something else?
You could keep the skinny jeans and flats but wear a cute top and a jacket or blazer
or substitute a pair of heels for the boots- see how the loose sweater makes her look even tinier?
If you want to wear the boots wear a shorter shirt and sweater to lengthen the amount of jean that shows
wearing something looser on the top would work better with your boots
or fold over the boots
