$250-$350

I’m a photographer on the side and charge all of my engaged friends $100

The price seems correct but if she’s a student, she might not be getting those rates yet, so maybe it’s a little high.

Since she’s a student and a friend, it’s possible you could get a better rate or the same price somewhere else. If you’re looking for the best rate, you could wait until you book a photographer to see their package.

My photographer charges $350-550 depending on location and duration. You’re getting a good deal, assuming that you like their photography style!

How many locations, change of clothing, and hours is your e-session? My photographer charges $300 an hour, and his e-sessions are 2-6 hours long. But he is very very good and established.

That’s REALLY cheap for a full session with all files and an 8×10.

$150 is probably a good deal, but it depends on your area. I charge folks around that for a 2 hour shoot with multiple outfit changes and edited images on CD, and I’m not a student. The average in my area for a full time photog is between $150-$300 for an eshoot. Where (roughly) are you located? What are other full time pros asking in that area?

Looking at the price alone – it is great, I charge 400-650 for an engagement session that is purchased seperately from a package – pricing varys on the number of locations, outfit changes and time frame. Being that she is a student it seems very fair. Good luck with your engagement session!

Our e-shoot with our photog is $250 for an hour or two (it’s a ways out so I haven’t really checked yet) and a couple outfit changes. All rights and a print or two, I believe.

I paid $400 for engagement photos and that included a 2 hour session with 1 outfit change and a disc with full rights to all of the edited images. I think that is a good deal!
