Ouch that is a tough one! I almost feel like you have to pay her as you did take up her time. As long as the pics are not blurry, you have heads, no red eye, etc. she did do her job.  Photography is art and all types don’t appeal to all patrons. I don’t think you need to use her for your wedding but you need to tell her you won’t be so she knows she can book someone else for that day.

Yikes. Well you definitely need to pay her for her time (and don’t delay in letting her know so she doesn’t keep working on them if you don’t want them). You should offer to pay the session fee and then let her offer not to take it (she may, she may not). What does your contract say about cancellations for wedding services?
