So this week I bought a dress for our E pic session in 2 weeks. I love the dress, but was just generally concerned about wearing it due to our location involving the possibility (but not necessity) of having to climb on things. This has also made me question wearing heels, which I REALLY want to do. Upon looking at other E pics online I realized that my decision of choosing a printed dress may have been a bad one. I don’t have professional pics done often, so I don’t think of these sort of things. I’m a ditz, ok?
So the question is: Is this dress ok to wear for engagement pics?

i voted no, but i just realized that makes me kind of a hypocrite because i wore patterend dresses in our e-pics…so i think you’ll be fine!

Let me tell you, I had my engagement photos yesterday, and I wore a dress and heels and I definitely had to lcimb things. Although it was a little challenging, and embarassing because I’m pretty sure I flashed the photographer, I’m sure it was worth it. You wear what you feel the most comfortable and sexy in. Don’t worry if it’s a print, or if it’s to othis or that. Because ultimately, these are YOUR pictures, and you have to like them.
My advice to you, be comfortable, enjoy the experience, and make sure to wear short under your dress. Just in case it windy or you have to climb tall places 😉

@Future Mrs Morison: Aww! Your dress is so pretty and colorful. I love it!
Wearing shorts is a good suggestion. Thank you for the advice. My Fiance really likes the outfit and thinks I’m being silly. I think I’ll just stick with it.

That dress is pretty! Personally I prefer patterns, I think they’re much more fun!

As a photographer, I usually advise my clients against wearing small prints. To me, that dress has small prints. If you want to do print, try going with a larger one such as:

Not just fine, it’s an excellent choice, especially if he’s going to wear a little black. 🙂
