My photographer sent my a list of do’s and don’t and one was don’t wear all white.  I wore a white shirt with a denim shrug. Maybe you could find a cute green (or some color) shrug/cover up?

One of the “do’s” was to wear colors in the same color family.  So, maybe a different shade of green blouse.

Another suggestion: My Fiance and I drank some wine before our pics to relax.

    Have fun!! 🙂

I think white would look fine! It will look very clean in pictures, and will go well with that shirt. Have fun!

i wore a white top that had ruffles on it and i wore a purple spaghetti strap shirt under it (his shirt had diff. shades of purple on it, and white..plus, my main wedding color is purple). I think white shirts are okay but I wouldn’t wear a white dress or anything like that.

I think wearing white in pics is 100% fine, the only thing I would suggest that if your going to wear white that he wear a different color.  I think you two would look a bit washed out if your both in white/semi-white shirts.

I also think that wearing white is fine, but I do not know your skin complexion. I like the other suggestion about wearing something with the white top (with a bright colored sweater) to balance out the color. In general, I think that the color recommendation is for what makes a better picture (color = interesting). However, I’ve seen plenty of people taking photos at the beach in white (girl in white dress, guy in white shirt and khakis). I think that you can make the decision yourself.

I would actually be more comfortable about fit. Some things to note, loose tops and dresses come off making you look bigger in the picture (that might be obvious), but it’s different from real life since we can see the fabric move that there is a body under there, versus when the camera takes a picture in a moment in time, all you see if a big blob. Our photog was conscience of this, and one of my dresses as empire and a bit bellowy – so when we were in a position where it was puffy, she would tell me to smooth it down.

    Hope it all goes well!

I voted yes for white but I do like the other suggestion maybe wearing something over it. The only reason I do not like to wear white like a white shirt is because I heard white makes you look wider LOL I know its totally silly but It maks me look really really HUGE and I do not need to add to my plus size+ness LOL
