You have really gorgeous eyes and I think the black eyeliner looks too harsh! Either brown or grey liner would show off your eyes more.  Have you tried a gel liner? it would be less of a harsh straight line. And it’s hard to tell from the pic whether you’re wearing any eye shadows. I think a brownish or bronze  smokey eye would really showcase your eyes beautifully. Or even just a sweep of gold shadow across the lid.

@mepayne:  I’d play around a little with your eye makeup, perhaps the teeniest bit less severe and more natural with the eyeline, but otherwise, I think it’s perfect.  I wish I could apply eyeliner half as well as you do!

I’d leave off the eyeliner on the bottom waterline or only line half of it. For pictures, I’d also add a bit of color on your cheeks.

it’s pretty good but i agree with pp.  with your colouring, i would suggest a brown or charcoal liner and mascara.  a soft smokey eye would look great.

you have time so i would definitely buy some eyeshadow (even drugstore brands) 3-4 colour palette and practice, practice, practice.

check out pics and tutorials online.  try different looks…you never know what you might like.

Your skin looks amazing, with a nice natural finish. I like the lip color, too.

However, I would recommend going lighter on the lower lash line eyeliner application, either just less liner or try a powder or shade of brown for a less harsh line.

@mepayne:  I think the black eyeliner is a bit too much. Maybe for a night out. With that said, though.. you might want to wear strong-ish makeup for photos.

Try going to a makeup counter at the mall and ask for some tips on how to do your makeup for your wedding.  Clinique is my favorite and they’re in several department stores- they will give you a face chart with each makeup they used on you.

I did this before my e-pics and loved it.  I’m decent with makeup but the session really helped me make my look different from ‘everyday.’  There’s no pressure to buy anything (though I did) and felt a lot more confident afterwards.

I love the second picture!  It’s super soft and romantic.
