I booked our photographer, and the epics are included in the package. I was checking out their blog last night, and noticed that one of their couples decided to do Boudoir photos instead of the engagement pics.
So my question is…what would you do if you could only choose one? I reallly really want to do boudoir photos, however Im not sure if I should lose out on engagement photos for them or just save the $600 they charge to do them??
Soo Epics or Boudoir photos???

Epics. You can show those to everyone and use them at the wedding for things.

Boudoir pics are so special and I did them for my Fiance and he loved them and it was a great experience for me. However, they are more personal and private and it would be a gift just for the 2 of yall to enjoy.
The epics are a great way to celebrate your engagement and you can give them to family, friends, make an album to set out in your home, put out pictures in your home, and then you can use them for the wedding. We did those, as well, and I’m so glad we did. I would never trade doing them for boudoir if it was one or the other.
I say go for the epics, you’ll be so glad you did! Celebrate and enjoy your engagement! Boudoir is a great present but only as an extra. Maybe you could do them as a wedding present? You have plenty to save money and research different photographers and that would be a great wedding present for your hubby.

Buy the engagement pics, and then do DIY boudoir pics. There are a few good tutorials for doing your own classy, pretty boudoir pics.

We decided to forego e-pics – logic being that we have tons of pictures of us, though not professional, and we’ll be getting tons of pics on the wedding day. I’ll more likely display our wedding picture than an e-pic. But I still plan on doing boudoir session cause I know that is something I just would not be able to do well myself, but that Fiance would love.

Definitely Epics, no question. There are few times in your life that you are going to have a chance to take professional photos with your loved one. Why not have that opportunity? You can still have your wedding photos framed around your house, but we have several e-pics framed around our house as well. Epics are also great for a guestbook, to display at the wedding, engagement announcment, to give to family members, to put at your desk, etc. Of course you will have your wedding photos, but you are wearing your gown and him his suit/tux – its great to have pro pics that are of you how you look every day! Also, boudoir photos you cant show to many people besides your Fiance. In addition, what is he going to do with them? Look at them once and then what? I know my husband would rather have me dress up in person that dress up for pictures. I think most guys probably feel this way, but boudoir pics have bcome such a trend recently that women are jumping at the chance to get them done left and right. I just think 40 years from now youll be happier to have the epics than the boudoir pics!
