I would do vvsi clarity. But I’m a giant stickler for clarity that’s the one thing I absolutely would not compromise on.

If you post on the pricescope forum with the specs and any images you have, the diamond experts will check them out for you and make sure they are good cuts and aren’t going to have any issues.

If it were a Round Brilliant I’d say #2, but an SI emerald cut is a no go. The color will show more as well. so the 1.67 for sure.

“Seem eye clean”. Have you seen both of them IRL?

For an emerald or any similar cut- go as high in clarity as you can.

For a round diamond I might pick the bigger one but for an emerald cut I agree with PP- you should go for the better clarity.

If it was Round Brilliant I would definitely say go with the bigger stone, but since it’s emerald I think you will be happier in the long run with higher clarity..

Si2 worries me, but it’s all a matter of opinion ๐Ÿ™‚

Without seeing where the inclusions/flaws are I would not go SI2 on an emerald cut–1.67 VVS1 all the way!  Congrats!!

Do you have pictures? ๐Ÿ™‚ I agree with PP about the 1.67, the clarity of the 2 carat would worry me.
