There is definitely a difference.

The prongs in the first picture have the diamonds set higher, making them look more round. On your ring they look lower, almost squished, giving more of a square shape

I would email them about it. It’s still beautiful though

I can see what your referring to, it seems there is more metal in between the diamonds on your than in the stock photos.

I think the setting of side stones of your ering is total different from the ones on pic from insta…

The setting of the prongs are very tiny so that the side stones look more round on pic from insta while the prongs are comparably bigger on your ering which makes your ering band looks more square….

Although there is difference, I think that your ering is gorgous!

I love your ring and I totally see the difference. I wonder if they used some kind of weird underlighting or something to make it look different?

I can see the difference too. It’s looks as though the side diamonds are set lower or in bigger prongs. I’m certainly seeing more consuming metal one way or another. I agree with you that the stock photos are gorgeous, I can see why it called to you. The one on your finger is still lovely though! I hope you get a satisfying resolve from the shop. Congratulations on your engagement :-)!

The ring is gorgeous. I honestly think a lot of it will have to do with the lighting Used on the stock photos.

Get back to Brilliant Earth and ask about this.  If necessary go to the premises and compare rings.

I suspect that they may have ‘updated’ the design.  If this is the case you may have to ask for the old design or get your money back.

simplicitea:  It’s a beautiful ring!  However the prong style is definitely different than on the stock photos. If your unhappy with it then you should send it back so they can remake the shank and set the stone’s the way you wanted. I personally prefer the ring you recieved over the stock images.

The ring you recieved looks more of a bright pave, where as the ring pics from brilliant earth look like it is common prong or bead set.

simplicitea:  I definitely see the difference in the prongs. Both are beautiful but I certainly see the appeal and originality of the insta pictures – email them! My ring is from BE and they have excellent customer service.

Yes your ring doesnt look like a shared prong, more like beadset to me. FWIW your current ring will prob be more secure.

I think the difference is in the lighting and the angle the pics were taken.  If you look at stock pics of rings and then the actual rings they do look different becuase of lighting and magnification or  other photo eiting that may have been done to highlight the details of the ring.

It’s hard to say. The angle of your pic is not exactly the same as the stock photo and with such small detail, that picture angle could make all the difference.  Though if you saw the one in store in person and feel it’s really different, then maybe they can redo it.
