simplicitea:  I see a difference too,, the prongs on the stock picture are shared and you can see they sit at the sides of each stone, so the stone is more exposed.. The setting you have is a regular prong set, where the prongs are set at the corners of the Stones, making them look more closed in. Definitely different setting.

I see the difference.  I actually prefer the ring you received because the girdles of the diamonds won’t rub against the girdles of the diamonds on the wedding band.

Good luck.  Hope they have an answer for you.

I definitely see a difference. You’re not wrong.

They are both beautiful, but if you had your heart set on those round diamonds appearing super round, I would definitely go in and have it changed 🙂

That is a completely different ring. The prongs are different, and the pave is set completely different. The stones are set in the metal instead of sitting higher on the band.

They will most likely have to reset your diamond. I don’t think that this is something that can be completely fixed. I would also want to see the ring to make sure that it is the one you want before they give you another ring that isn’t right.

They’re very different. I’ve also had this issue and been told it was all in my head. In the original pics the prongs are squeezed tight and the diamonds form “Mickey Mouse ears”. In your ring that effect is missing. I LOVE the Mickey Mouse/floating diamond look and it is disappointing to not receive what you chose when that feature was the reason you picked it! I hope they provide a resolution for you.

That’s definitely not the same ring. Sorry bee, hopefully you will have luck inside the store.
