I fell in love with a Tacori e ring and Tacori’s band width accommodates the size of the center stone. The center stone is an 8 mm F1/2 carat equivalent, and the band width is 2.5 mm for proportion and to support the stone. My ring size is 5.25. I’m worried that 2.5 mm will be too thick. Opinions?

My band is 2mm size 4.5 finger 1.17 carot center diamond. This just give you an ideas

Mine is 2mm band, ring finger size 5.25, and a 1ct equivalent center stone. LOVE how thin the band is!

It’s all a matter of personal taste, but I think if you prefer the look of a thin band then 2.5mm may be nearing the line of being too thick. Only way to know for sure is to try some rings on!

I find my ering band to be nice and thin, it is 2mm and I have a 1.3 carat round and a halo… you will probably feel like the 2.5mm could be starting ti feel thicker than you want.

my ring size is 4.5 and my wedding band is 2.5mm and i feel like it’s really narrow, and my fingers are not particularly long or anything

My fingers are long, but not particularly big, and I have three rings which are 2.5mm each. I tried thin and thick settings on, and I preferred thicker. They feel sturdier to me.

Mine is a 1.7 ct cushion (7mm) on a 2mm pave, size 5.25
I love the contrast of the big whopping diamond sitting up on that thin band. I say 2.5mm is too thick (IMHO)

I have a 1.3 carat diamond on a 2 mm band. I have a 4.25/.5 finger and my fingers are very skinny looking. I personally think the band is a little thick but was advised not to go smaller because of the stone size. Over a carat and a half I was advised to stay with a 2mm band. I’ll include a picture.

All the pictures of the other 2mm bands are making me question if my band is actually 2mm (actually 2.1 is exactly what it was listed as). I don’t know if it’s just an illusion from different hand/stone sizes, but mine seems thinner than the other 2mms…

It totally depends on what you like! Here is mine for ref – I like it thinner, so I had them shave off the sides and now the band is about 1.5mm which I love (bottom image). I didn’t measure it before, but I’d guess it was almost or at 2mm. I have a 1.3 carat diamond in the center and they had no concerns about support or anything like that.
