(Closed) E-ring before and after adding a wedding band

  • poll: How do you feel about your wedding band?

I love how my band complements my engagement ring

I love my band so much I want a second band

I prefer the look of my engagement ring alone so I will wear the e-ring and band on different hands

I don't wear a wedding band, only an engagement ring

I only wear wedding band, no engagement ring

@littlegraykitten:  Thank you so much! Is the rose gold okay? I’ve been feeling really insecure about it lately, people keep saying it’s tacky/trendy! It was kind of rough going back to the jewelers and seeing all the classic white gold and worrying.

@gangqinjia:  The rose gold is beautiful!! Seriously! It looks great against your skintone and I think rose gold is classic, like yellow gold  🙂

@gangqinjia:  I am actually not a big fan of rose gold, but I think your rings just changed my mind about rose gold.  I love your set!

I voted “other” since I was proposed to with a solitaire which we turned into a beautiful design that I wear alone:

I originally hated the idea of a contour band to go with my e-ring, but it has definitely grown on me… so-much-so that I’m hoping DH will get me a second band for Christmas (he’s hinted at it, so we can get them all soldered together at the same time).

Thanks ladies, it’s nice to have a little positive reinforcement when IRL all I get is disappointed looks. So rude!

@gangqinjia:  Your set is really pretty and romantic!

I still wonder if I should have just gotten the all-diamond pave band to match my ring, but the sapphire and diamond band has more meaning to me. (Hence the mismatched set!) I could wear my engagement ring on my right hand, but it makes me kind of sad because of how sentimental I am, so I usually opt to stack them instead.

@gangqinjia:  That’s an amazing set. I think you’d be hard pressed to find someone who wouldn’t wear it happily. And for it to be called trendy? On the contrary! We inherited a set of rose gold bands from my husband’s great grandparents…you know how trendy great grandparents can be haha. Rose gold is classic! Again, really amazing rings!
