Hi everyone, this is my first post here but I’ve been reading for quite a while.
Finally my fiance and I decide on these 2 rings as my e-ring but I can’t seem to choose 1 of them. everyone that i’ve been talking to told me they are both pretty and it’s up to me to decide which one I like better. The problem is I can’t
So i want to ask if anyone have similar rings to these 2 (they are both from James allen, just the basic pave and solitaire rings), what do you think about it?
i have some concern over the durability of the pave setting. Is the small stones easily to fall out, get dirty or dull? I’m not exactly hard on my rings as I work with computer and lots of paper shuffling.
I would really appreciate any help. Please please help a desperate bee

i have one like the top picture, i wanted the bottom one though as i love when you have 2 pave bands with plain engagment ring. but i cant have that now lol

both are gorgeous and look fab on your hand!!! the top is very similar to mine so I’m admittedly a little biased😊! I had the same dilemma of pave shank vs solitaire but ultimately pave won. I have only had my ring for 3 weeks and love it!!!! I have the same fear of pave falling out but it seems a touch more sturdy then what I was expecting. I like the extra subtle sparkle it adds!! I don’t know what kind of wedding band I will get so I can’t really speak to that as poster above mentioned. Go with your gut! Does one make you smile more? That should be the one!

I’m voting for the pave shank though I completely understand your nervousness about the stones coming out. You should just double check the warranty if you decide to go for that one!

I would go for the plain shank solitaire. I love the look of the classic plain band, especially when paired with an eternity wedding band.

Plain. Classic. Really shows off the diamond. You can add blingy eternity bands etc later if you like that look.

I say plain!
Just because I think it makes the diamond pop more and gives more options for your wedding band 🙂

Plain! For pretty much the same reasons that MsPeanutbutterPenguin

I prefer the pave. I love pave. Are you able to show the side views of the rings?

Mine isn’t from JA but it’s similar to the second one, so I’d vote that because I’m biased 😉 but also because I’ve had pave rings before and the stones are notorious for falling out. At least I personally had that issue.

Both are very pretty but I always have liked plain shank solitaires. The upkeep is a nice plus as well, because it’s less to worry about!

I think the plain band shows off the diamond more. And I’m just a little over all the pave.
