We’re getting our rings at Prestige jewelers in the Pasadena Jewelry mart, I’ve posted about it before and I’ll continue to sing it’s praises. Amazing prices, amazing service, go check it out if nothing else just to get a really good education on what to look for for free and with no pressure! I think the booth is C4 Not sure about that but they’re so ridiculously sweet. Good Luck!

My fiance researched engagement rings pretty heavily and went to a Robbins Bros for reference, but ended up buying online at Blue Nile for an awesome price and value. However, if you’re set on buying in person, Bridal Rings Co, Icing on the Ring, and Eli’s Jewelry in the downtown LA jewelry district are all trustworthy and have great service!

We got my wedding band and DH’s band in the Jewelry District.  SIL’s e-ring and band are also from the Jewelry District.  I would highly recommend it, there are so many stores with a huge selection!  We also paid less because we didnt have to pay tax when we paid with cash so that was nice 🙂

We just came back from the Jewelry district. I found my wedding band at Eli’s and Fiance picked his at Icing on the Ring. Very nice people at both!

I just recieved an email thanking me for the Prestige Jewelry reccomendation and remember (after all this time) I needed to update this. I can no longer reccomend Prestige in Pasadena, for just a nice gift or buying directly from the store I’m sure they’re fine. We ordered our rings about 6 months out, they told us it would only be about a month to recieve them. We called every month and every month were told 3 more weeks. IT finally got to the point that we were very concerned they swore up and down they would have BOTH my rings 3 weeks before the wedding (I love that I got to wear my engagement ring for so long…) they told us the engagement ring would be in at the end of the week but they wedding ring was no longer available and all they had was double in price. The good old bait and switch! I’m sure they’re fine for purchasing an item if it’s in stock but if you need it in time and it has to be ordered don’t bother or you may find yourself scramblng last minute. Luckily I found a place online and in the end I loved my rings even more than I thought I could, I get SO many compliments. The place is called diamond zone they’re located in Chicago (my sister lives there so she was able to check out if the place was ligit or not and bring the rings directly too us). I’d recommend them I had a stone fall out and they took care of it although I thought it was wrong that I had to pay for shipping (the stone fell out within the warranty so in my opinion shipping should be on them) other than that everything was good (and they were very fast!).
