Every now and then I feel that way.

I fell in love with a vintage design that we recreated in a new custom ring. We did NOT shop around for the diamonds or ring design and instead shopped around for the right jeweler.

In hindsight, I realize that my diamonds are not the greatest quality – they don’t shine as brightly as I would like them to. I was so focused on the design of the ring that I didn’t even think about the quality of the diamonds. Also, because it was a very time-intensive, custom ring, it cost quite a bit – I see that I could’ve gotten a very lovely ring for significantly less than what we spent.

Sometimes I look at my friends’ rings and see such bright flashes of light in their diamonds and feel that twinge of envy. Mine seem quite dull in comparison.

I do love that my ring is so unique. I’ve never seen anyone with a ring even remotely similar to it, and I love that, so I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

i have a tad regret so I am changing mine. the reason is only cause of the band. I wished I had just made a ring I could wear alone. BUT I tend to work in the yard alot, and taking my ring off would feel bad too. so i went with a small simple band and blingy ring. together, I am not as fond of them. so I plan to sell my e ring, get another in the same setting just a bit smaller and plain shank/band. then I would be more inclinded to wear everyday. right now it equals 2 carats LOL

my other option is to switch my wedding band to my R hand and just leave the ring on the left. id be fine with that too.

@sommertime:  Love your second one! So pretty!

I didn’t choose my ring, my fiancé did, but I haven’t had any regrets. I love it SO much.

Sometimes I think if I had chosen different style, bigger diamond or many smaller…

Well if you chose it than why do u dislike? I understand being bored but dislike probably not. I picked out my ring don’t have it yet but I literally am in awe by it! There will always be a ring that will be “better” but your ring symbolizes your love. Always remember that.

My sister has been married for 10 yrs and she told me that she gets bored with wearing the same combo everyday so she switches it up. She has diamond bands in different styles all white gold. She wears different combos periodically

I’ve had thoughts where I wish the band was a little thinner, but overall I love the shape, gold color, size. I’ve never seen a ring quite like mine! Fiance picked it out so it’s even more special 🙂

The bee can definitely cause ring regret lol also I think there is an adjustment period of rings especially when we imagine what our dream ring will look like and the reality is quite different 🙂

At first I really wanted bigger the design is perfect but then another bee pointed out that it would be significant cost to get more gi ger coverage and to think about the wedding. I have other priorities and I’m actually not that comfortable with more than 3k on my finger.  Also the bee can cause ring envy, someone else said stay off the bee and see if you like the ring more and I do I love it. 🙂
