I personally would go with the smaller one.  3.5 carats is very large and can get gawdy looking very quickly.  My experience with Moissanite has been that it can look very “costumey” in large sizes because it sparkles differently than a diamond.  Not to say that you want yours TO look like a diamond, but I think large moissys look very fake, like something out of a kids jewelry box.

I would say go for the smaller stone. I feel like the halo kind of makes a center stone look bigger. I love oval halo rings!

holy cow girl… have you researched the price for a 3.5 ct diamond? if you go that big, upgrading down the road will be a fortune! I’d go with the smaller size.

I don’t think too many people seeing a coated CZ of this size will assume it is a diamond. These are very large, uncommon sizes, in diamond terms.

I’d definitely go with the smaller one. Even is a 2.5ct stone is massively expensive.

I’d go with the smaller, especially if you’re using a halo.
