I think a straight band with diamonds would look best. Your e-ring is very unique and should stand apart as its own ring. What about something with a vintage feel to it, like some of these?

@teabiscuit:  Gorgeous! I think that this is the first ring I felt compelled to comment on! You are a lucky lady!

@teabiscuit:  I think your best bet is to go into a jewelry store and try some on because you don’t know what you like and what looks good until you try it on (just like wedding dresses!). My ring has a similar shape to yours overall narrow on the sides and gets wider in the middle) and I picked a straight band, which doesn’t leave too much of a gap. I don’t want to threadjack, but I’ll post a pic so you can see what I mean:

And for what it’s worth, I don’t think you have any reason to feel insecure about your ring – it is gorgeous!!!

Are you looking to see what a curved band would look like? No, I cannot wear mine alone, and yes I do sometimes regret that, on rare occasions.

I think a regular band looks absolutely fine, except I would wear it on the inside. Honestly, I’m not a huge fan of the curved bands, i think the idea of rings clanking around a little. I like the sound πŸ™‚

@teabiscuit:  I don’t really think those two bands go well together… I would get something MUCH thinner, like 2 mm, and maybe with a little bit of a curve?

I’d take a minute to browse hearts on fire’s wedding bands selection:

Most of their rings have small diamonds with a “detailed” sort of look if I’m understanding what you want. Hopefully this will help you find what you’re looking for!

I think a band like the matching band, but thinner (like 2mm) would look best.  I really like the idea of a curved, engraved band.

I love the double prongs holding the center stone! Beautiful ring. There are so many types of wedding bands you could get. I personnaly love an eternity band because rings turn on my fingers. I don’t want to keep being concerned with how the band is facing. Also, for me, having a gap between the two rings was important as I love that look.

Another aspect you might want to consider is how comfortable it will feel on your finger. I think a channel setting or bezel is the most comfortable on the neighbouring fingers. I didn’t realize that when I got my shared prong setting.

Have fun choosing! Here’s my set:
