    Search “show me gaps”  on the boards!  Not only does it not matter that they don’t sit flush, it’s actually a very popular choice!

    Here’s just one of the threads that show tons of examples, there are at least 5 or 6 more too.

    I don’t think sitting flush matters, however I’m not sure I love that band with your ring.

    I feel like a narrower band might be better as the thickness of that wedding band seems to overpower your narrower band on the engagement ring.

    @KatNYC2011:  Agreed.

    I think that band, when paired with your e-ring, is out of balance and overpowers your finger.

    I have a gap, and I love it! But no, I’m not a fan of that particular band with your ring. Your ring is so delicate-looking, and the band isn’t.

    I agree with the PPs who said that the band overpowers your ring. I also see a thinner more delicate band to go with your e-ring.

    All that matters is that you like it!

    I agree with others who think the band overpowers your finger.  I think something about the width of those pear sidestones or slightly wider than your ering band would look better.  I’ve found, too, that rings that are too thick can make fingers looks stubbier.

    I think something thinner or more delicate would look better, it just takes away from your ering too much which is a shame because it’s gorgeous!
