Mine was $2500 (tax in) for a 0.61 platinum solitaire (I – SI1 – ideal cut) from Blue Nile. We could have easily gotten something for $2000 from there! I know some are hesitant to buy online, but they have great products, customer service, etc. If I remember later I’ll come back to post a pic. Being able to find something < $2000 will really depend on what style you like (e.g. solitaire vs halo), how big of a stone you would like, and your standards for the other 3 Cs (as you can see I didn’t care much about colour and clarity)

@CaseyC2611:  My e-ring and the matching band came in at $1500.  We went for a moissanite set, with a 1ct Amora enhanced center.  He ordered from moissaniteco.

I don’t know the specs of my ring because Darling Husband won’t tell me, but I do know that it cost around $1000 and is from Ben Moss. 1.5mm band, 14K white gold with 3 larger diamonds and 6 chanel set diamonds is all I know about it.

7.73 x 7.68mm Amora OEC moissanite in a customized white gold six prong solitaire with two surprise diamonds, 14k white gold, size 4. Stone was purchased from MCo, setting from Poppyseed, and sent to Amcor in New York for setting, total = just under $1,500.

I like the rings that the celebrity designers have been doing recently, like Vera for Zales or Neil Lane for Jared

Mine is a 1.5ct-equivalent Amora-enhanced moissanite set in palladium. I think it was around $1,300.

Mine might be cheating, because its original price was something like $2600. (I think. I can’t remember what he said exactly.) Fiance got it on sale for around $1800, though. Wait for a sale, and you might get a really good price!

It’s diamond in 14K white gold, 0.5 center stone, 1.0 total weight.

I’m on my iPad so I can’t upload a picture, but my ring was $800 from moissaniteco. It’s a 1.1 carat enhanced cushion moissanite solitaire in a palladium setting.

My set was originally $3600 but we waited for a sale and tacked on a military discount and got it for $1800. You can find good deals if you look hard enough.
